Cynthia Khanyisile Msibi, visiting student intern from Kocaeli University, joined our group! Welcome!
Cynthia Khanyisile Msibi, a third-year Biomedical Engineering student at Kocaeli University’s Faculty of Technology in Turkey, joined our research group at the University of Rijeka, Faculty of Engineering, as a visiting student intern. Welcome Cynthia!
During her internship, Cynthia will work under the supervision of Dr. Kamenar on topics related to soft robotics, wearable rehabilitation systems, and EMG-based feedback for robotic rehabilitation. Her activities will contribute to the projects Advanced soft robots: data-driven development, modeling and control and Koopman-driven real-time sEMG signal decomposition for robotic rehabilitation.
“My name is Cynthia Khanyisile Msibi and I am a third-year Biomedical Engineering student at Kocaeli University’s Faculty of Technology in Turkey. I am a member of the mechanical unit of the KOU HypeRush Car Levitation Team, where my primary focus is the design and production of the levitation rail system.
Alongside this, I am currently developing a wearable arm rehabilitation system. For my compulsory summer internship this year, I am working at the University of Rijeka’s Faculty of Engineering in Croatia.
Under the supervision of Dr. Kamenar, I am focusing on soft robotics, with the goal of expanding my knowledge and practical skills in this field.”
