Johannes Heeg

Johannes Heeg is a PhD student in the Optimization-based Control group at TU Ilmenau under the supervision of Karl Worthmann. Prior to joining TU Ilmenau, he studied Computational Engineering and Mathematics at TU Darmstadt and the University of Stuttgart, and holds a master’s degree in Computational Engineering. His research interests include data-based control of nonlinear systems, Koopman operator-based modeling and control, and robot learning. During his stay in Rijeka, he is working on applying Koopman-based methods to soft robotics.
